There are 8 faculties in Islamic University. These 8 faculties have 34 divisions. Examination of all departments held in 4 units. The units are A B C and D. The total seats of IU is 2471. The ofiginal seat number is 2305 and 166 is for the quota. Therefore A unit has 240 seats, B unit has 1065 seats, C unit has 450 seats and D unit has 550 seats. All departments student like Science, Arts, commerce and vocational students can apply and admit in A B C units. On the other hand only Science and Vocational students can apply and admit in D unit.

IU A Unit Result 2019-20
A unit has 240 seats. Therefore it is a faculty of theology and Islamic studies. This faculty has 3 islamic departments. The departments are Al-Quran and Islamic studies, dauoa and Islamic studies, al hadish and Islamic studies. Around 16,000 candidates sit for admission exam in A unit. So it seems to be a hard contest.
IU B Unit Result 2019-20
It is the largest unit of kushtia university. This unit has 3 faculties named Arts, Social Sciences and Law. 14 divisions consist in this 3 faculties of IU. The exam of B unit has took place on 5 November 2019. Therefore the test was held on 2 shifts. First was in the morning (9:30-10:30 AM) and 2nd was in the afternoon (2:00-3:00 pm). A total of 26,225 candidates participated in the B unit admission test for 1,655 seats.
IU C Unit Result 2019-20
There is only 1 faculty Business Administration in C unit which have 6 divisions. This unit has 450 seats for the students. Mostly 20,000 candidates sit for C unit admission exam. The admission test for IU C Unit was held on 4 November 2019 in 2 shifts. First shift exam was held on 09:30 am – 10:30 am and 2nd shift is on 2pm – 3pm.
IU D Unit Result 2019-20
IU D unit has 3 faculties named science, biology and engineering technology. The admission test of D unit was held on 6 November 2019. 11 divisions are consist in 3 faculties of D unit. Therefore each division has 50 seats which is total 400 seats in the D unit of Islamic University.
